Well, this is just a wonderful recording. The quality for the majority of this recording is as good as or actually better than an official recording and there is very little crowd noise. Recorded from the section FLR6, Row D - Seat 14.

This performance features Phil "X" Xenidis filling in for Richie Sambora on lead guitar and backing vocals. It is very interesting to hear the different guitar sound in the songs. It has a rockier, chunkier sound to Richie's and is very evident in the solos in "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Runaway" and the great version of "Lay Your Hands On Me". "I'll Be There For You" suffers from Richie's absence. (As an aside, why has Jon started to attempt a solo in "Runaway"; he did it at the Scottish show and it was dreadful! You can also hear it on the Munich and Manchester shows). The only downside is that it is quite a bland set-list. I always hope for at least two "treats" when I see them live. At the recent Edinburgh show we got "Wild Is The Wind" and "Something To Believe In", along with an impromptu/unplanned "These Days" at the end (which still doesn't appear on the official Bon Jovi site setlist). And nothing will ever beat seeing "Santa Fe" live in London :) This one doesn't have any of these one - off type songs (likely linked to having a stand - in guitarist) - having said that the band are really up for this show and they sound like they are having a great time!!!
